"If you want to excel at tennis and improve your fitness, then there’s no other instructor in Los Angeles that can help you achieve your goals like Ryan Krane. What sets him apart from other trainers is that he cares. He truly does care about his clients and their success on and off the court. What makes him effective beyond his caring personality is his ability to personalize a tennis and fitness training program exactly for you. While most coaches would take you through the same old routine of ground strokes, net play, and serves, Ryan incorporates something new and helpful into every lesson. You never get bored, and you always look forward to the fresh tips he gives you that’ll keep you on top of your game

Ryan always reminds me that “You’re only as good as your footwork.” The only way to improve your footwork and movement to the ball is through agility and strength training. Luckily, Ryan is one of select few instructors who are Etcheberry Certified in Strength & Conditioning for Tennis. This means that he has a diverse portfolio of exercises and drills to improve you in the areas you where you need most work, allowing you to obtain the explosive movement that will win matches.

Furthermore, Ryan is responsible and dependable. As busy as he is, he can always find a time that is convenient for you, and he follows up every lesson with a motivational email and an arrangement for the next lesson. At the end of the day, it’s always nice to have a coach that wishes you a relaxing weekend and good luck on your midterms."

“Ryan Krane is one of the motivating and caring coaches I've ever been coached by. Every time I see him when I walk onto the court, I'm welcomed with a huge hug and a high five. He educates himself all about the sports stars, and the training needed to fulfill the guaranteed top spot of your ability. He makes each lesson fun, but at the same time, works you until you literally drop. He's changed my serve into an entirely new one that almost never lets me down. This past year, I injured my facet joint, and wasn't able to hit a backhand, overhead, or serve for at least 4 months. After that period was over, my forehand was better than ever before, and since then, he's brought everything else back to speed, and improving my stokes as time progresses.”

“Ryan Krane is the complete tennis professional. He is the only trainer that I have had, that includes conditioning and injury prevention in his classes. These are a few simple exercises that everyone should do as a warm-up and they take only a few minutes and the advantages last a lifetime. In the case of a few aches and pains that are already present, he will work on those exercises that strengthen the affected area. With me, it is my shoulder where he is helping me regain strength.

He emphasizes the fundamentals, of every stroke and this way the improvement is rapid and ongoing. He also makes his classes enjoyable and very worth-while. I feel the improvement while having fun during my lesson.”

"I  met Ryan as a result of an arm injury caused by playing tennis.  I started training with him to help strengthen my arm and upper body so that I would be able to resume playing tennis once the injury healed.  What followed was an amazing journey.

Ryan has taught me so much about what caused my injury, why my body needs strengthening and how to create a program for life to prevent re-injury to my arm or for that matter other body parts!

What sets Ryan apart from anyone else I have met in the world of tennis or fitness, is not only his extensive knowledge and experience but the way he tailors each program to the specific needs of the client. He listens to what the client wants to achieve and creates a variety of  fun, beneficial and different exercises during each session.  I was amazed that with a minimal amount of simple  equipment he is able to offer a wide range of exercises for all parts of the body.  His easygoing, caring and attentive personality makes each session fly by.

I am so grateful to have met Ryan because he has taught me so much and continues to care about my progress and full recovery.  He is someone who will make your life better, stronger and healthier.  Let's face it, without health what do we have???"

"I have been training with Ryan since he brought the program to Mountaingate.  The workouts are hard, but alot of fun!  Thanks to  Ryan, I am much stronger and more fit.   My flexibility and speed have also improved dramatically.  I can get to so many more balls now, that would have been out of my reach before.  If you like to challenge yourself, this is the class for you!"

"Ryan Krane to me is one of the best tennis/fitness coach out there. I started training with him almost 2 + years ago. I went from being a complete beginner to an advanced intermediate tennis player in this short period of time. I have learned so many things about tennis and about eating well too.

Ryan focuses a lot on being consistent from the baseline and always tells me that I do not have to kill the ball in order to win a point. Which on many occasions has served me well. In addition to that, the one other thing that he really likes to work on is footwork. I have made tremendous improvement in that department, and all that is thanks to Ryan and his constant leg drills. Although they may kill your legs, but it will pay off on the court for sure. Do not worry about getting killed during his training sessions, he makes it fun while you are at it =-)

In addition to his coaching, Ryan has a great character. He is patient, caring and he is always looking out for you. I also really like that he is very professional when it comes to his clients. Last and not least, Ryan pushes you to perform at your very best at each of his training session, that is what I like most about him."
